Free your mind.

It's a free country! You can do what you want! Nothing can stop you. Free your mind, as if you're doodling a blank wall. Don't bomb your mind with problems. Think of something outside the box. But remember, it's always a process. Nothing's instant, only coffee and noodles. Don't mind the negatives people tell you, they are just putting you down so don't mind them. Always work hard. Never stay too long in front of your gadgets and your PC. Go outdoors as well. Meet new friends. Like Don Bosco said, "Do your ordinary duties extraordinarily well." "Enough" is not enough. Make it extraordinary, like putting the icing on the cake or a nail in the coffin.

But never forget this, don't be too proud of yourself. It will pull you down.

Nail Art: Color Blocked Nails

I used to do my own nails back in high school. I loved nail art, my mom even got me books to give me techniques. But I got too busy with “the real world” I couldn’t be bothered anymore. It was always strictly red or black or the occasional other color.
Now that I’m cutting costs, I’m putting manicures and pedicures on a strictly DIY (Do It Yourself) basis.
Here’s some very basic nail art I did a couple of weeks back! Enjoy!
Nail color
  • MAC Hibiscus
  • MAC Kid Orange
What you need:
  • Cotton balls
  • Nail polish remover
  • Tape
  • Toothpick
  • Patience
Assign which color you want as your tip color and apply it first. Practice patience and let it dry before doing anything else.

Put tape on top. About 1/3 of your nail! Use a toothpick to make sure it’s secure up until the edges of your nails.
Remove the remaining color using nail polish remover. You can use a cotton-covered toothpick to be more precise.

Apply the second color. It’s just like painting a room and using tape to cover the stuff you don’t want to get paint on.

Self X Give Away

Do everyone Like to have one? I will be giving this Away :)

All I Really Need To Know

I remember seeing this poster every time I visited my pediatrician as a little boy.

It’s so silly how simple kindergarten rules may have saved us from the floods caused by typhoons and the recent habagat.
